A couple of weeks ago I attended a "Totally Tim" class with a friend. I was actually filling in for another friend who had planned on going with her, but went out of town at the last minute. I really enjoyed the class and it made me realize that for the last year I had been teaching so many classes, and haven't taken any. It kinda got me to thinking....I really need to keep "filling up" so I have something to give.....This might sound silly but I don't want to get burned out! Anyway...I am trying to branch out in creating art & try classes I might not have looked at before. This is one of the tags that we made in the class. I am signed up for the next Totally Tim class & can't wait to see what our class projects will be!

Vintage Pansies
Hello again, I can't believe a whole week has passed since my last post! I just finished up this Pansy card and will be dropping it off at the Scrapbook Cottage tomorrow. I am a little late in getting them the sample for the class I will be teaching there on Thursday Feb. 11th -Hopefully they will forgive me! Working full time is really cutting into my crafting time!On a side note: I was so thrilled to hear how happy Candace was when she received my package. She was the winner of my last blog candy. She wrote on her blog that she was so happy that she cried! You can read about it here !

Heartfelt Flowers
Heartfelt Creations is introducing some new stamps that are designed to work perfectly with Nestabilities and I love that they are flowers! Recipe For Fun!
I was given the ok to reveal some of the projects that I have been working on that will be taken to CHA at the end of this month. This box is covered using the new line of papers from Cookbookin' and I love them!!! Below is the divider cards that I decorated using papers from this same line. I cut circles & scalloped circles, from the paper, using nestabilities.
I made a couple of other things with this line that I didn't photograph before I turned them in...note to self...all ways photograph before turning in!!!! Now I have the prototypes of another new line of papers and only a little bit of time to finish some projects, so they can go off to CHA without me!Tuesday, January 12, 2010
Paper Delphinium flower
Hello...I don't know if it's just me or what....but I have never been so busy in my whole life! I have to keep this post short because it is 1:30 in the morning & I have to be up at 6:00 to get ready for work...but I wanted to share with you a card I finished up tonight. This is a Delphinium, but my daughter said it looked like a Blue Bonnet (our TX State flower) The background paper is by K&Co from a boxed pack. Hope yall have a great week!

Pink Valentine Tag
I hope you enjoying these first few days of the new year....it's back to work (the real job) tomorrow. I have been busy working of some things for Design teams that I'm not allowed to show you yet. CHA is coming up at the end of this month & lots of new things will be revealed there. Although I don't get to go, some of the samples I am making will be there.
I am showing you this Valentine Tag I made just for me. I used a vintage image that I cut out added to paper from K&Co "Cut & Paste Designer pad". A little distressing, some trims, and a ribbon rose, and Voila'! I plan to make several more Valentine Tags to hang up like a banner. I will show you when it's complete....if I ever get it finished!
