Gingerbread Cards

I was so inspired by a recent post at Debbie Olsen's Blog Thinking Inking that I made my first spinner card. She has a great tutorial Here. This is so much better in person because he spins & twirls from one end to the other. It's like a toy, you just keep playing with it & don't want to put it down! If you haven't ever made one it is not hard- I just followed the steps on the tutorial- and you will be amazed when you are finished!

The card below was also inspired by one of Debbie's. You can see hers here. The gingerbread man used on both of these cards is from the Holiday Button Bits set by Papertrey Ink. I love this set! Thanks Debbie for the inspiration & for allowing me to add you to my favorite's list in my sidebar.
I can't believe it is November! Christmas will be here in a blink! I know that this time of year we all stay super busy, so I especially appreciate you stopping by & leaving me a comment!

  4. How did you do the puffy fabric part of the gingerbread man? He looks like he was stencilled onto the muslin fabric, and then some batting put underneath, and stitched down (though hidden)? Write to me at valerie.mendenhall@cox.net if you want, since I won't see your reply here!

    Really super sweet!
