I am back from my vacation (which was a trip to Dallas then Oklahoma to visit my family)...and I am missing them already! My visits back to my hometown are never long enough.

I have drawn a winner of the blog candy give away....and the winner is Mary Anne of http://lakesidestamping.blogspot.com/ Thanks to everyone who visits and leaves me comments!

Before I left on my trip I made this banner and it will be offered as a class in August at the Scrapbook Cottage in San Antonio, TX

It was inspired by the banner swap that I participated in a while back, on The "Every thing Wendy Vecchi" Yahoo Group. I decided that I wanted to make an entire banner with different
flowers, in the WV style. I would love to hear what you think!

Fabric Flower pins

I just love the new Tim Holtz Alterations die's especially the tattered florals die. I saw a flower on Tim Holtz blog a while back and was totally inspired! You can see his here but you'll have to scroll down a ways because it was a long post) I cut flowers out of some fabric remnants, stacked & layered them to make these fabric flower pins. I sewed the button in the center then glued the pin to the back. These are so simple & fun!
I don't know which one is my favorite....but I love making these!

I am putting together some stuff for for a blog candy give away....and I think I will include one of these. I'll be back with the details in a few days!
Thanks for stopping by!
