It starts on Friday evening & it's alllll day Saturday....we will be making 25 projects & having lots of fun!!! We are having a "card front" swap and I am so happy that I have completed my 40....yes 40 card fronts!
I also completed 2 projects for a "Cookbookin' Design Team Challenge"....I have to wait to find out if I can show them to ya though.
Ok...Even though I feel relived to be this caught up (for once) I should have started making class kits...but I wanted to I pulled out my brand new Tim Holtz Tattered Florals and some fabric remnants and made this shabby lil' flower....

My very talented friend Barbara has just stared her very own blog, and I really really Love the altered book she has just posted! You gotta go check it out! Just click this link ->Bravo Bling and go send her some love!!

Handmade Gardenia

Gardenia's have always been one of my most favorite flowers. I am pleased at how this Paper Gardenia came out! Gardenia's are used a lot for weddings...and I love how they smell... I am going to try to find some way to make this paper Gardenia smell like the real thing! I think I have seen the scented oil, if I can just figure out how to get it in the flower without discoloring it! Any suggestions???
I think this will be a great wedding card, and the clolors of the accent flowers could be changed to the colors of the wedding. It would also make a great Mother's day card!
Thanks to all who stop by my blog... I would love to hear from you... leave me a hello in the comments an make my day!
