Biggest News Ever!

Wow....I have the biggest news ever! I am so excited...I don't know where to start! Ok...a while back the Cookbookin' Design was given a challenge...and guess what ? I won! Yippee! But that's not all.... Cookbookin' has given me the most wonderful opportunity: to teach the project that I made at the CKC (Creating Keepsakes Convention) that is coming to San Marcos in September!
This altered book, using a page binding techinque developed by Tami Sanders, is the project for the class and I will have more details as it get closer!

Please e-mail me if you want more info on the class - This will be one you don't want to miss!
Thank you for supporting me and for your sweet comments!

Banners Wendy Vecchi Style

Once again I am cutting it close to a deadline, but I finished my banners for a swap I signed up for over a month ago. See, a while back I joined a Yahoo Group called "Everything Wendy Vecchi". I haven't ever joined a group like this or participated in one of their swaps.....but I decided to be brave & jump right in. I made six of these have them ready to mail out tomorrow! I can't wait to see the ones that I will get back!
Thanks for stopping by! I would love to hear from you!

RIck Rack Flowers

Hi...Hope you are enjoying your weekend...they sure go by so fast! Today I am sharing another project I made at my friend Yuki's "Mini Retreat". The paper is by The Angel Co. and again I was a rebel and had to be different! My friend Barbara gave me the idea of making the rick rack flowers, because I had rick rack in the perfect color. To make these start with a circle the size you want the flower to be, then use a low temp glue gun to gather the rick rack round the circle. Then I added the button in the center. These were the first rick rack flowers I ever made in my whole life!
I love how bright & cheerful this is! I hope like it too!

Crazy Daisy

Hey there ...did ya miss me? Cuz I have missed hearing from yall!! I don't want to bore ya with how busy I have been, so I am gonna skip over all that and tell ya about the "Mini Retreat" that my friend Yuki hosted. It was my first time to attend I had a great time! There were about 40 or so ladies, many from out of town. It was held in a large reception room in a local church. There were 25 projects to complete at your own pace. This Flower card was one of the projects...but I had to be a rebel....and embellish it in my own way....so my finished card was totally different than the sample card. I will post another one of the projects very soon...I promise!
Thanks for stopping by......I luv to read your comments if ya wanna say Hi
