I had been wanting to try to make one of these paper flowers out of coffee filters, so today I tried it. I probably won't make more because it was a pain in the patootie! I couldn't get the punch to cooperate with the coffee filter, it kept getting stuck! Maybe there is some secret that I haven't been let in on! I am happy with the results, but it took way too long. The punch is from the punch bunch & works much better with card stock. http://www.thepunchbunch.com/theme.htm (It is the begonia petals )
After I Punched enough petals, they were shaded with chalk pastels, then assembled. The book "Paper Bouquet" by Susan Tierney Cockburn is help full. I took a class here at our local stamp store "StampAntonio" a while back & learned the basics.
Awesome, I got this book and punch too and will definitely have to try this. SO gorgeous!!
