Modern Christmas Flower

I hope you all had a great "Word Card making Day"! I did and I have several cards to show you, but I think I will spread them out over the next week instead of putting them all in one post. My theme was Christmas Cards, and I tried to use non traditional colors for most of my projects. This one seems a little "Mod"
The striped designer paper is by "Black Market Paper Society" the flowers is made using the Lilly Petals punch and Mega single Holly punch. I sponged the petals & leaves with inks and used stickles on the stamens in the center of the flower. I used a CB embossing folder for the layered square.
The finished card is 5 1/2 X 5 1/2. I would love to know what you think of this one & how many cards you made yesterday. I bet you made more than me!

  1. your card is just gorgeous as always!

  2. Oh Lisa! Really love this one. Super, super job on that Poinsettia and the colour is lovely.
You beat me. I didn't finish any cards yesterday.
    Hugs Marion

  3. What a gorgeous card! I absolutely love the colors you chose! Very nontraditional but elegant! I was too busy yesterday with family to make any cards. That always seems to happen to me when a neat event day rolls around.

  4. Love the colors you have used on this! Beautiful work on your flower too! Well done Lisa!
