Modern Christmas Flower

I hope you all had a great "Word Card making Day"! I did and I have several cards to show you, but I think I will spread them out over the next week instead of putting them all in one post. My theme was Christmas Cards, and I tried to use non traditional colors for most of my projects. This one seems a little "Mod"
The striped designer paper is by "Black Market Paper Society" the flowers is made using the Lilly Petals punch and Mega single Holly punch. I sponged the petals & leaves with inks and used stickles on the stamens in the center of the flower. I used a CB embossing folder for the layered square.
The finished card is 5 1/2 X 5 1/2. I would love to know what you think of this one & how many cards you made yesterday. I bet you made more than me!

  3. What a gorgeous card! I absolutely love the colors you chose! Very nontraditional but elegant! I was too busy yesterday with family to make any cards. That always seems to happen to me when a neat event day rolls around.
